SpaceX – Elon Musk’s rocket company – has secretly stockpiled 18,712 Bitcoins, currently valued at over $1.45 billion. This information was revealed through SEC filings, but internal sources confirm this is no ordinary investment. This Bitcoin hoard could be used to fund Starship missions, build infrastructure on Mars, or even as a backup currency when X (Twitter) launches a global payment system.
“This isn’t an investment – this is a survival strategy for humanity,” an internal source close to Musk revealed.
With this amount of Bitcoin, SpaceX officially enters the top 7 largest Bitcoin holders in the world, behind only MicroStrategy, Tesla, and several other large funds. However, the long-term secrecy surrounding this has led many to suspect it’s preparation for a major “twist” in the near future.
